ICI social projects impact more than 180 thousand people

In addition to the already consolidated projects, new initiatives and awareness-raising marked the area's calendar.The activity report, which consolidates the main results of the sector, indicated that the reach of people in the initiatives quadrupled compared to 2020. In all, 181,232 were reached with the actions."ICI's Action and Social Responsibility area started to be structured in June 2018, based on the Institute's statute, code of conduct and strategic planning, as well as on the UN's sustainable development goals, the SDGs", says Ozires de Oliveira, who was in charge of the area in the period.There were eight actions carried out in 2021: the Justice in the Neighborhood project, the Hemogram app, the Curitiba Passport, the Wifi-Curitiba, the Digital Trail in partnership with the Association of the Physically Disabled of Paraná and the Social Action Foundation, the Ven , Tú Puedes, and equipment maintenance to ADFP.Click here to see more details of the projects carried out.In addition, in 2021, ICI joined the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, the UN Global Compact, and became part of the SDG Strategy, a network of organizations with the purpose of expanding and qualifying the debate on the SDGs in Brazil.It also renewed the Sesi ODS Seal and became a member of the Paraná Corporate Citizenship Council (CPCE), an entity linked to the Federation System of Industries of the State of Paraná (Fiep)."We also received an honorable mention for the Digital Trail project, at the Sesi ODS Congress.
